My Dear Students,

Welcome to the website of Shyam Da's Academy. I earnestly hope that this website guides you towards fulfilling your career aspirations.

First, let me congratulate all of you for having embarked already onto your current academic calendar year of 2026–27 with full enthusiasm. Many of you must have initiated your learning voyage over the concept-formative period of IX–Xth Standard, most others are dwelving deeper into the steep learning curves of the XI–XIIth Standard while preparing simultaneously for the career-defining competitive entrance exams like JEE, NEET, etc. Also there is a significant group of aspirants who are Repeaters, and who believe its worth taking one more shot at these coveted entrance exams and solve the winning code. I wish all of you a well deserved break through in your career goals.

However, as an IITian who has already traversed this path in the yester years, and as an experienced corporate trainer and educationist, I would suggest, avoid the following pitfalls ahead of you:

Don't stop at the 'HOW's', get to the 'WHY's'.

Don't cram, Don't fall for shortcuts and quickfire tricks to solve for problems, even before you have understood the concept.

Don't 'buy' your success.

Those are short term and eventually fails in the long term. Build your success the hardway. Remember, there is no short-cut to success in the long run.

Now, let me explain what I am aiming at in my Academy!

It should be a place where learning is unfettered and affordable for all. The process of learning should be deep, engaging and thrilling - with a sense of discovery and an essence of innovation and where imagination knows no bar. The quality of teachers and the teaching infrastructure should only reinforce this learning environment of "Engage, Enquire and Experiment". Students should be able to practise critical thinking at every inflexion point of their learning. Assignments, tests and evaluation should earmark your learning outcome and provide you with valuable continuous developmental feedback - without being an overload. We should be able to help you confront the most difficult topics with utmost ease. We will help you learn in segments and layers. Our two-way feedback mechanism should identify your 'blindspots' and help you overcome those learning gaps through customized sessions.

In a nutshell, my dream is to create an academy where learning becomes fun without any fear or tension.

In the meanwhile, while you decide to be a part of my family, follow these simple steps in your daily routine:

• Control the controllables!
• Give your sweat, hold your patience - be resilient!
• Learn to concentrate hard and practise over long periods of time!
• Block out all distractions around you - those can wait!
• Organise your time effectively, and stick to your plans religiously!

Just focus on the process as stated above, your success is round the corner!
